A creamy Italian rice dish made healthy using Homemakerz Jowar Millet Rice!
Ingredients
1. Onion (1 Medium size, finely chopped)
2. Garlic Cloves (4-6 finely chopped or crushed)
3. Vegetable Broth (1 Cup)
4. White Wine (1/4th Cup, optional)
5. Salt to taste
6. Crushed Black Pepper (½ Teaspoon)
7. Cream Cheese (2 Tablespoons)
8. Parsley to garnish
9. Butter (1 Teaspoon)
10. Homemakerz Jowar Millet Rice (1 Packet, cooked as per instructions on the packet)
11. Olive Oil (1 Teaspoon)
Method
Step 1. In a pan, add olive oil and butter. Once the butter melts, add garlic and let it cook till golden brown.
Step 2. Add onions and cook till translucent.
Step 3. Now add the cream cheese, vegetable broth, salt, pepper and let it cook on slow heat till it all mixes well and becomes saucy. If using wine, then this is the time to add it.
Step 4. Boil Homemakerz Jowar Millet Rice as per instructions on the packet. Strain it and add it to the sauce.
Step 5. Let it cook on slow heat for 2-3 minutes. Its ready to be served.
Step 6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with garlic bread.
