This Chicken Khada Masala is a healthy chicken recipe cooked in whole spices (khada masala). It is an easy preparation and makes for a wonderful weekend lunch alongside some rotis or paranthas. For that perfect taste & aroma don't forget to add a dash of Homemakerz Garam Masala!
Ingredients
1. Chicken (1kg)
2. Onion (2 medium sliced)
3.Tomato (2 medium sliced)
4.Ginger (2' sliced)
5. Garlic (8-10 cloves)
6. Red Chillies Whole - 2
7. Whole Garam Masala (2 tablespoons mix of Black Cardamom, Green Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper, Cumin, 1inch Cinnamon & 2 Bay Leaf)
8. Curd (1/2 cup)
9. Green Chillies (2)
10. Green Coriander - 1/2 cup
11. Mustard Oil (2 tablespoons)
12. Salt to taste
13. Homemakerz Garam Masala (half teaspoon)
Method
Step 1 - Heat mustard oil in a pan, temper with whole garam masala.
Step 2 - Add sliced onion, saute lightly & add chicken pieces & salt. Sauté well till it turns light brown.
Step 3 - Now add sliced tomatoes, whole red chillies, sliced ginger & garlic & again sauté well.
Step 4 - Add curd & sauté until oil leaves the sides of the pan.
Step 5 - Add green chillies, saute lightly & garnish with green coriander & Homemakerz Garam Masala.
Step 6 - Serve hot with rotis or parathas.
